DROVION Announces New Development in Hybrid Powered Unmanned Aircraft Design

London, UK - ZARA9 LTD, operating under the trade name DROVION, is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking development in its efforts to revolutionize the unmanned aircraft industry . With innovation at its core, DROVION series of aircraft represents hybrid powered multipurpose unmanned aircraft, designed to accommodate electric conventional, short, and vertical takeoff and landing (eCTOL, eSTOL, eVTOL).

At the heart of these aircraft is a XAEROS groundbreaking hybrid propulsion system, combining one electric motor with two internal combustion engines to deliver optimal efficiency and safety. With system power setups ranging from 200 kW to 440 kW, this design offers versatility for a wide range of applications, from urban air mobility to long-range cargo missions.

The aircraft is designed to achieve carbon neutrality by utilizing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), offering the capability to transport a payload of up to 1,100 lbs (500 kg) over a range exceeding 620 miles (1,000 km) at a cruise speed of 200 mph (330 km/h).
