Applications: 1. The use of sodium hydrosulfite is very wide, mainly including reduction dyeing, reduction cleaning, printing and decolorization in the textile industry, as well as bleaching of silk, wool, nylon and other fabrics. Explosion: Sodium dithionite is a light yellow powdery substance. The powdery substance is easy to form an explosive mixture in the air. Dust explosion occurs when encountering a fire source. The mixture of sodium dithionite and most oxidants, such as chlorates, nitrates, perchlorates, or permanganates, is explosive. Even in the presence of water, it explodes after a slight friction or impact, especially after thermal decomposition, the flammable gas generated after the reaction reaches the explosion limit, then its explosion hazard is greater.
