Rapid Machining Launches New Service
Mark Dirsa, Rapid Machining Vice President of Operations, stated, “Over the past year customers have been requesting prototype machined parts faster. Because RAPID’s core values and mission focus on customer service, the entire team knew what needed to be done. This new service was a team effort and I am looking forward to seeing the positive impact 5-day lathe parts will have on the business.”
Rapid Machining was founded in 2009 to satisfy a demand for prototype machined parts. Since 2009 Rapid Machining has outgrown two facilities and moved to its current 50,000 square foot facility on Charron Ave in Nashua, NH. In 2014, Rapid Machining opened a separate 33,000 low-volume production facility across the street. All prototype parts are quoted in less than 24 business hours and typically delivered in less than 7 business days. The decrease to a 5 day turn for lathe parts allows customers to launch projects even faster.
Jay Jacobs, RAPID’s CEO, states, “Rapid Machining has come a long way since 2009 and is consistently on a mission to grow. When customers came with the request, the team was ready and committed to make this happen.”
