In the golden hues of autumn, amidst the vibrant spirit of innovation and aspiration, the 8th World Integrative Medicine Congress convened from November 8-9, 2024, at the Shenzhen OCT InterContinental Hotel and the main campus of Silicon Valley International University of Medicine. This monumental event brought together leaders in the field to explore advancements in integrative medicine, a discipline bridging traditional and modern practices to promote holistic health.

The online conference is simultaneously broadcast globally from November 8 to 12, continuously from 9 AM to midnight daily, with themed forums held online throughout the event.

Hosted by the World Federation of Integrative Medicine Societies, the event was co-organized by esteemed institutions, including the "American Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine", "European Federation of Chinese Medicine Experts", and "Australian Chinese Medicine Association". The Silicon Valley International University of Medicine and Qihuang Online streamed the event simultaneously, with the congress hosted by the World Federation of Integrative Medicine Societies and co-hosted by various institutions, including the American Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Medical Education Association, China Safety Industry Association, Chaoshan Vocational and Technical College, the European Federation of Chinese Medicine Experts, the Australian Chinese Medicine Association, the Canadian TCM and Acupuncture Alliance, and the American Wu Yi Research Institute. Organized by Zhong'an Guokang Group and the International University of Medicine, the event brought together thousands of medical experts and scholars from the Americas, Asia, Europe, Australia, and Africa, marking a significant event in global medical history. The Eighth World Integrative Medicine Congress was led by Honorary Chairman Academician Fan Daiming and Chair Dr. Wang Yingqiu, with Executive Chairs Dr. Xueli Fu (USA) and Dr. Gao Jinglian (China). In his address, Dr. Wang Yingqiu, President of the World Federation of Integrative Medicine Societies and the International University of Medicine, highlighted the transformative potential of integrative medicine in China, projecting that its widespread adoption could save billions of yuan annually in healthcare costs. Professor Ante Simonic, MD, Ph.D., co-chair of the Eighth World Integrative Medicine Congress, is an expert in neuropharmacology, former Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia, and former member of the Croatian Parliament, where he served as Vice President of the Farmers' Party. He has also held the role of Croatian Ambassador to China, Mongolia, and North Korea. Professor Simonic has served as a professor and dean at the University of Rijeka Medical School for over 30 years and was elected three times as President of the Croatian National Pharmacology Society. Additionally, he founded and chaired the Croatia-China Friendship Association and is a senior advisor, committee chair, and lifetime professor at Rijeka Medical School. The congress highlighted three main themes under the overarching topic of "Grand Medicine, Grand Health, and Grand Industry":

1. High Dimensionality: Promoting the integration of physical, mental, and spiritual health, eliminating diseases at the earliest stages.

Professor Jiang Dan, Chair of the Academic Committee, encouraged experts, medical institutions, and investors to pursue integration and innovation, strengthening global medical collaboration. Professor Cheng Jianhua, current Vice President of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and co-chair of the congress, noted that the event supports global TCM promotion and has gained enthusiastic participation from experts, scholars, and medical seekers from over 60 countries.
