In her congratulatory speech, Queen Mariam emphasized the reasons behind the Senator's knighthood: "Due to your sacrifices for your people in advocating for youth rights, promoting quality education, and ensuring equality for women and children, alongside your unwavering battle against societal moral decay, we are deeply honored to name you our Knight of the Royal Maharlika, embodying the Protector of the Earth, Champion of Change, and Builder of Peace. We extend our heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the Kingdoms and Royal Houses aligned with the Royal Maharlika, which empowered me to confer this honor upon you."
