Press release from: Galileo Group AG

Foundation of Galileo Tools GmbH increases focus by bundling software business with Conigma™, one of the leading SAP® Change und Transport Management solutions, in a new legal entity.

Munich, February 11, 2008 - The Galileo Group AG, a leading provider of software solutions for the Change and Transport management for SAP®, today announced the foundation of a wholly-owned subsidiary, Galileo Tools GmbH. Effective immediately, this subsidiary will be solely responsible for driving and growing the software business with Conigma, the leading-edge solution for automation of the SAP Change and Transport management process. Significantly growing demand as well as the need to quickly address new sales channels have required a stronger focus and finally resulted in this reorganization, allowing also for easier cooperation with organizations, which historically have been competitive to Galileo Group in the area of professional services for SAP.

The management team of Galileo Tools GmbH consists of Malte Klassen, Josef Huber and Matthias Kneissl. Josef Huber, Vice President Sales and Marketing of Galileo Group AG will take over responsibility for Galileo Tools GmbH as General Manager.

"Despite of a significantly increased complexity of the today SAP landscapes and the introduction of new technologies like JAVA and XI, many companies still manage the change and transport process for SAP on the level of transport objects. Planning and scheduling of releases and change requests is still typically based on spreadsheets, telephone calls and emails, which because of the afore mentioned complexity quite often leads to serious problems and delays,“ said Josef Huber, General Manager of Galileo Tools. „Innovative companies have recognized this challenge and actively looking for solutions to address it. With Conigma, our proven software solution for managing and automating the Change and Transport process for SAP, we are well positioned to support our customers to achieve much more efficient IT processes as well as enabling them to comply with regulatory requirements deriving from Sarbanes-Oxley Act, GOBS, FDA and others.“

“Focusing on the business with Conigma was the main objective for founding Galileo Tools,” Malte Klassen, CEO of Galileo Group stated. „This is a very important step ensuring the flexibility, independence and speed, which is crucial for success in a young, but quickly growing software market. Additional having a separate legal entity allows much easier different kinds of cooperation with other parties, which we may deem helpful or necessary in the future.“

Conigma Overview
The Conigma Suite enables companies to define homogeneous, highly automated and efficient IT processes - which may be freely defined - for change, release and transport management for SAP – working across several SAP lines as well as covering heterogeneous customizing technologies (configurations, ABAP, JAVA, XI), and to apply these processes both in the company itself and in collaboration with development and consulting partners.
