A Bold Chapter in Sound and Storytelling - Celebrated with a Release Show at Mr. Beery's
Long Island, NY - Firetog & Co., formerly known as the Phil Firetog Trio & Co., embraces a new identity with the release of their genre-bending single, "What You're Good For," out today, November 8, 2024. This captivating track serves as an anthem for anyone who has faced the intoxicating cycles of toxic love. With powerful lyrics and immersive instrumentals, "What You're Good For" dives deep into the emotional games that define many modern relationships. Firetog & Co. brings their new release to life tonight at Mr. Beery's in Bethpage, NY at 10 p.m., with special performances by Good Vibes, Anything Ever, and Don Moon.
Recorded at Vudu Studios in Port Jefferson, NY, "What You're Good For" combines folk storytelling with the raw edge of alternative indie. The song is a sonic journey, moving from soft, introspective moments to powerful crescendos that reflect the emotional highs and lows of a toxic relationship. Lines like "You want your song - But you're not good for me" capture the turmoil between longing and self-worth. Self-produced by the band and mixed and mastered by Mike Watts and Frank Mitaritonna, the track is a deeply cinematic experience that resonates with listeners navigating complex relationships.
"What You're Good For is for anyone who's had to balance between desire and knowing their worth," says Phil Firetog. "We wanted this track to capture the intense pull of a relationship that isn't healthy but is undeniably hard to leave."
"What You're Good For" isn't just a single release - it marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band, embracing a deeper collaboration. Formerly known as Phil Firetog Trio & Co., the band has rebranded as Firetog & Co., reflecting a shift from a traditional trio to a collaborative collective. Founded by Phil Firetog (vocals/guitar), Liam Gordon (bass), and Johnny "Pots" Potoncik (drums), the group now includes Tye Granger (saxophone), Brandon Rivas (trumpet/trombone), Dustin Bartley (violin/cello), and Alex Kamm (piano/organ), each bringing unique musical influences that have expanded their sound.
To celebrate "What You're Good For," Firetog & Co. will perform a live show tonight at Mr. Beery's, joined by Good Vibes, Anything Ever, and Don Moon. Known for their immersive, unpredictable performances, Firetog & Co. promises an evening of dynamic music. Fans can also look forward to a live acoustic music video for "What You're Good For," premiering November 15, 2024. Filmed at Vudu Studios, the video offers an intimate take on the song with core band members and guest musicians.

In 2026, American parents' approach to choosing children's clothing is undergoing a quiet transformation. Instead of focusing on outfits for specific festive occasions to create a sense of ritual, they are now embracing real-life daily scenarios. As temperatures gradually warm, spring and summer styling has become a focus in men's daily dressing. Compared to autumn and winter, spring and summer clothing is lighter, thinner, and more close-fitting, with longer and more extensive contact with the skin. This shift has led people to pay greater attention to the safety, comfort, and breathability of clothing materials. When garments almost become a "second skin," factors such as skin-friendliness,…
