Ken's Hardwood Barbecue Restaurant Scheduled to Close
Tucson, AZ, USA - October 29, 2024 - After an extraordinary 10 years of serving up award-winning barbecue to the Tucson community, Ken's Hardwood Barbecue will close its restaurant doors on November 2, 2024, at 7:00 PM. As Alexander reflects on this incredible journey, he is grateful for their customers' love and support. He is excited to announce the new adventures he is embarking on.

The journey for Ken's Hardwood Barbecue began in September 2015 with a food truck, and by May 2017, they opened the doors to the restaurant. Over the years, they've created countless memories, shared unforgettable meals, and built a thriving community around their award-winning barbecue. Ken's Hardwood Barbecue received the Arizona Daily Star Reader's Choice Award for Best Barbecue in Southern Arizona five years in a row, including 2024 - an accomplishment they couldn't have achieved without their amazing customers.

In addition to serving delicious barbecue, Alexander has shared his passion through the 'Get Your Barbecue On' podcast, which has released over 50 episodes. As the restaurant closes, Alexander is thrilled to announce the launch of the 'Get Your Barbecue On' video podcast, scheduled to stream on Zondra TV. This new format will connect barbecue lovers nationwide, offering tips, stories, and insights.
Ken Alexander is also excited to share that they are in the process of bottling their award-winning barbecue sauces so loyal customers can bring a taste of Ken's Hardwood Barbecue home. These sauces will soon be available for online purchase.
The food truck will remain in operation in some capacity, perhaps under a new name, ensuring that the spirit of Ken's Hardwood Barbecue continues on the road.
