At IDES2024, Elsight presents "When Situational Awareness is Critical in First Responder Missions"
Taking this concept further on day 1 of the conference, Elsight Co-Founder and CTO Roee Kashi will present on "When situational awareness is critical in first responder missions".
Within the variety of typical first responder missions - firefighting, riots, hostage taking, search & rescue, natural disasters - widening the scope of real-time information during a high-risk situation leads to successful risk management. The key element in continuous transmission of precise information (video and data) is the robust C2 connectivity supporting aerial views, wireless cameras on responders' helmets, and from mobile units - or ideally, from multiple sources.
The ability to fly beyond the visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) for continuous real-time precise data collection is the pillar in optimal first-responder event management. When comprehensive data is transmitted to a remote-control center, commanders can decide on the ideal tactics on the spot.
Roee will describe how this type of continuous communications is possible, even if there are parties trying to jam communications. In addition, he will speak to real life use cases of natural disaster recovery.
