Yesterday night the entrepreneurial sparkle of Silicon Valley was brought together around the old airport terminal in Munich. At the place where planes used to take off, startups, entrepreneurs and future shooting stars are nowadays starting their journey to sky and met up for a casual get-together on Friday evening. Slightly pimping up the weekly event series, the hosts asked theirs guests to decorate themselves with stickers – depending on the category they would come from. These icebreakers helped everyone to exchange their ideas as people were really curious about the stories behind the color of the stickers. People immediately started talking about disrupting logistics technologies, the future of property purchase or trends in the 3D-printing industry - one of the partner startups from Turkey even managed to hire two of the guests until midnight! Although just hanging around and enjoying free drinks from local startups was one of the options, all participants contributed to a great night of networking and were particularly excited about the location. Penthouse views, a rooftop terrace, almost natural grass on the floor and an old gondola in the vibrant offices of startup accelerator ABC Venture Gates are certainly going to be headed for again.
