Post-doctoral researcher, Tuang Za Khai, is on a mission for academic freedom and pro-democracy activism

Tuang's Scholarly Quest

After being an exemplary student at the University of Kalay and graduating with a perfect GPA of 4.0, Tuang [https://www.tuang.org/] scored the Chinese Government Scholarship, which helped him pursue a Doctorate in Plant Functional Genomics to study plant-microbe interactions.

He has racked up numerous awards and scholarships that speak volumes about his contributions to academia and social justice.
