A Community United: The 2024 San Mateo Rotary Foundation Announces Fun Run Event, Combining Fitness And Family To Provide Education Scholarships
"This event is all about bringing people together for a great cause while having a blast," says Jeff Lowenstein, President of the Rotary Club of San Mateo. "From the fun costumes to the excitement of crossing the finish line, the energy is infectious. Most importantly, every step helps us support students and invest in the future of our community."
The San Mateo Rotary Foundation will host their Fun Run event on October 20th, 2024 at 1901 J Hart Clinton Dr, San Mateo, CA 94401, encouraging all to wear their favorite costumes. The event offers a 5k and 10k walk/run for kids, students, and adults. Adults start strong at 9:00 AM, and kids follow at 10 AM. With this event, The Rotary Club continues with its legacy of "Service Above Self," raising funds to support community college and four-year college scholarships.

Prizes for great costumes and more, The San Mateo Rotary Foundation continues their steady mission in raising funds to support community college and four-year college scholarships.
The Fun Run event kicks off with a Fun Run for kids, students, and adults. Participants choose from a 10k or 5k run/walk, gathering at 1901 J Hart Clinton Drive, with the Adult 10k or 5k walk/run at 9:00 AM, followed by the Kids, at 10 AM. The San Mateo Rotary Club is committed to inclusivity, welcoming all cultures, races, and creeds, while remaining nonpolitical and nonreligious.
This event goes beyond fun and fitness. It is an opportunity to support the Rotary's incredible humanitarian services. Local businesses and individuals are strongly encouraged to become sponsors, who align their brands with the Rotary's mission of service. The Rotary and community working hard together will create a rippling effect of change that affects students, professionals and families in the local community.
