Award-winning director Timothy Hines has unveiled an exciting 3-minute sneak peek reel of his upcoming feature The Wilde Girls, giving fans an early look at the film's unique blend of comedy, survival, and historical drama. Set in 1932, The Wilde Girls follows the misadventures of two spoiled New York heiresses, Tinsley and Mattie Wilde, whose fortunes are lost in the stock market crash. Suddenly stripped of their wealth and luxury, they find themselves unprepared and out of their element in the rugged wilderness of WashingtonState. With no survival skills to speak of, the sisters must navigate a series of dangerous and often absurd situations that push them far beyond their comfort zones.
The sneak peek teases key scenes from the film, including the sisters' botched survival efforts, their comically tense encounters with a grouchy mountain man (played by New York's favorite standup comic Teddy Smith), and moments of levity amidst the harsh and unforgiving natural landscape.
