For instance, in December 2023, Wipro Consumer Care, enters in D2C space with Bio-essence. The company has launch ready-to-cook breakfast and South Indian snacks. It is also planning to expand in the premium segment such as moisturizers, facial cleaners and toners.
Further, in July 2023, Myntra introduced the Myntra Rising Stars program with the aim to strengthening the direct-to-consumer (D2C) ecosystem in India. The program onboards 200 made-in-India fashion, footwear, home, and accessories brands. It provides comprehensive support services to accelerate the growth of these brands.
