Hyporest: The first tasteless dextrose preparation without sweet taste
Cologne 15.10.2024. If you have an increased need for quickly _available _carbohydrates or need energy quickly, you usually reach for dextrose. It is immediately absorbed by the body and helps to normalize blood sugar levels. However, all commercially available products taste very sweet. On the one hand, not everyone likes this, and on the other, it often leads to others consuming more than is necessary. Hyporest is the new alternative on the market: dextrose, but without taste and easy to dose.Hyporest fills a gap on the shelf: the innovative dextrose preparation provides the energy you need quickly and reliably, but leaves neither a sugary taste nor a sticky feeling in the mouth. This is because the small, easy-to-dose tablets are coated with a wafer-thin protective layer, which ensures that the product is tasteless. Once swallowed, the coating dissolves in a very short time. This means that the dextrose is available to the body practically as quickly as classic glucose. Hyporest is therefore also superior to maltodextrin, which may not taste as sweet, but is absorbed and metabolized much more slowly by the body.
Only as much sugar as necessary
Hyporest also helps people to consume sugar in moderation, even if they have an increased need for carbohydrates: "If you don't fancy sweets or want to consciously avoid them, the preparation is an ideal solution that is also easy to dose," says Julius Grennigloh, founder of euvorio GmbH and inventor of Hyporest. The Cologne native is a type 1 diabetic and was dissatisfied with the products on the market for a long time. "In many situations, such as in the middle of the night, after brushing my teeth or on the go, when I needed to regulate my blood sugar levels, I didn't want to constantly reach for soft drinks or sweets. It was uncomfortable and most of the time I simply didn't have the appetite," says Grennigloh. "Hyporest allows me to choose how much sweetness I want and ensures that I only consume the amount of dextrose my body needs when I have low blood sugar - without the risk of being tempted by the sweet taste to overcompensate. Since I've been using Hyporest, my sugar consumption has reduced considerably," explains the inventor.
Diabetics, athletes and working people benefit
But Hyporest doesn't just promise diabetics more (decision-making) freedom in everyday life. Anyone who wants a new way of consuming dextrose in times of increased performance requirements such as training, competition, work or study will also benefit. In order to protect the unique formula, a patent application has been filed for the product both in Germany and internationally. Hyporest is manufactured in Germany under strict quality standards and has a PZN number. The dextrose alternative is initially available in selected pharmacies and in the company's own online store: hypoorest.com
