Grammy-winner ALYA Performs "Hope" Live at 12th Annual Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy

Inspirational singer/songwriter ALYA unveiled the official music video for her latest single, "Hope," on September 24th, just days before performing the song live at the 12th Annual Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy. The Grammy-winning vocalist brought her uplifting message of courage and resilience to an audience of over 100 influential global changemakers, including Matt Damon and Katie Couric."

The video for "Hope" was shot in Burbank, California and directed by Kristi Foley of Pleasant Street Entertainment. Tim Carmon developed the story concept, bringing into stark focus the songs contrasting dualism: the life-giving light of community that overcomes feelings of isolation, darkness, and defeat.

ALYA's wardrobe reflects the black and white tones of these opposing themes, including custom floral bodysuit that gives a subtle nod to the previous botanical art installations for which the singer is known. Showcasing simplicity at its best, viewers are invited to focus on the words behind the music as ballet dancer Maxine Hupy soulfully choreographs the melody.
