Ms. Mitchell obtained her Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law in May 2021. While in law school, she received the Dean's Scholarship and served as the Treasurer for the Black Lawyer Student Association. She was also a member of the Street Law Student Organization, the First Chair Society, and a SLU Law Admissions Ambassador. Before attending law school, Ms. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri - Columbia, graduating cum laude. While earning her undergraduate degree, Ms. Mitchell also was an Outstanding Senior Recipient for Research, a TRIO CAT Scholarship recipient, and was given the First-Generation Scholar Award. She also served as Treasurer of the Human Development and Family Studies Student Association and was a member of the Black Collegians Gospel Choir. Ms. Mitchell is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri.
