Berghoff receives award from the Toyota F1 Racing Team as best

Approximately 200 entrepreneurs from all over Germany took up the invitation from the Toyota F1 Racing Formula 1 Team in order to participate in the annual supplier meeting. On the 9th November 2007, the guests were greeted in the celebratory surroundings at the Wasserturm Hotel in Cologne, Germany and were informed about particular services provided by the individual suppliers.
The highlight of this annual event is the award of the best Toyota suppliers. These awards are given based upon the services that were provided by the suppliers during the course of the past year. The companies, which are divided up into product or manufacturing groups, are thoroughly observed and assessed on a monthly basis with regards to quality, delivery reliability as well as cost transparency.

The Southern Westphalia-based Berghoff GmbH Company was voted as the best supplier in the field of CNC machining. Berghoff was voted number one in its group in seven of the ten monthly assessments and, in doing so, was able to establish itself as the best supplier in the field of CNC machining.
Ulrich Berghoff, Executive Director and Founder of Berghoff GmbH said: “The provision of quality services is something that comes naturally to us. However, it is a great feeling to accept the award for 1st place in the field of machining. Our entire workforce is very proud to receive this award”.

In the field of machining, Berghoff GmbH offers processing options for components ranging from 500 mm up to 3000 mm in size. This can be achieved by using the most modern processing centres produced by Deckel-Maho-Gildemeister (DMG). We have recently ordered our 15th machine from DMG. The manufacture, assembly and supply of whole groups of components complete the range of services that are offered by Berghoff.
In addition to our location in Wenden, which has a production area of 1,500 m³, a second factory is to be built in Drolshagen during the course of 2008, which will have a production area of 2,200 m³.
