FlyPharma Conferences
The first FlyPharma Conference was launched in September 2015 at London Heathrow, pooling Samedan's broad readership across the pharmaceutical and logistics/cargo industries. One title in particular complements the conference's theme well and provided the basis of the FlyPharma concept: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packing Sourcer (PMPS).

PMPS offers extensive pharmaceutical experience from a manufacturing, packaging and logistics perspective, and particularly relevant are its cargo-related readers - forwarders, handlers, airports and carriers. Other supporting titles from the Samedan and PMGroup portfolio include Pharmafocus, PharmaTimes and PME, all of which offer an audience of pharma industry professionals with a diverse range of backgrounds and provide both thought-led features and news-driven energy. Together, these publications support FlyPharma as media partners and provide a strong base for opening up communication between two sectors (pharma and cargo) that depend on each other for success.

In 2018, FlyPharma expanded to three regional events: Asia, Europe and US. Each conference was a success and was met with extremely positive feedback from the industry. FlyPharma Europe took place again in 2019 in Copenhagen, in its largest event to date. After a break in response to the challenges of COVID-19, FlyPharma Europe returned in 2022 and took place in Leipzig, Germany on 20-21 September, followed by FlyPharma Europe 2023 in Vienna, Austria on 10-11 October. All events cover global pharma supply chain challenges and collaborative opportunities, but each focuses on how that particular region's unique characteristics both impact and fit within a worldwide marketplace.
