Fashion Week Fundraiser for Homeless Pets

The unique couture designs of pet apparel company Eccentric Pets LLC will be showcased at the Paws on the Runway Pet Fashion Show/Fundraiser at the Radisson Martinique Hotel on Broadway in Manhattan on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 7pm. In addition to introducing her new line of pet clothing, Ms. McDonald has teamed up with several pet rescue organizations to raise funds for homeless pets (please view the list of homeless pet rescue organizations on the website) Eccentric Pets’ amazing, new, one-of-a-kind items clothing line will launch on Monday February 11, 2008. Kim McDonald, the CEO of Eccentric Pets LLC, is an entrepreneur and trend-setting fashion designer specializing in uniquely designed pet garments. She’s on a mission to adorn your pets in the finest luxury garments and to blaze new trails in a largely untapped fashion market.

Originally from the Northeast, Kim obtained a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, Florida. She is now living in New York City, where she plans to open a retail luxury pet clothing store in spring 2008. An accessories collection, as well as a selection of pet colognes and perfumes, will also debut this fall.

In addition to designing pet apparel, through her company Eccentric Apparel, Kim is collaborating with designer Courtney Cromartie on a line of women’s lingerie and designer Malcolm Slater on a children’s clothing line, both of which are scheduled to be introduced in spring 2008.
