Matrix bagged the IETE Corporate Award for Performance Excellence in the field of Computer and Telecommunication Systems on the 59th Annual Technical Convention held in New Delhi. The IETE has instituted awards for recognizing performance excellence in the Corporate Sector, in the fields of Electronics Components, Computer and Telecommunication Systems, Development of Software, and Electronic Instruments and Instrumentation.

The evaluation criteria for the awards are excellence in engineering, outstanding growth rates in manufacturing, exports, R&D efforts and their commercial deployment, optimum utilization of appropriate technologies and management practices or other initiatives, which have resulted in accelerated growth in the country in the fields mentioned above over the past three years.

The members of IETE Board of Recognition of Excellence and three experts in the respective fields evaluate the nominations received. The awardees are selected based on the assessment and recommendations of the Board and the experts. The awards are then finalized by the IETE Council and presented at the Annual Technical Convention of the IETE.
