Labthink will be at Pack Expo 2024 to showcase a selection from their wide range of instruments for professional test and measurement of all kinds of packaging materials and containers, including the new C400 series combination OTR and WVTR permeability testers.
Pack Expo will take place at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, USA, from November 3-6. Labthink's latest permeability testers, C406H and C403H are dual purpose instruments for water vapor and oxygen transmission rate testing. The C406H Oxygen /Water Vapor Transmission Rate Test System has six independent test cells of 50cm2 size, which is three times the traditional oxygen transmission rate test instrument. The C403H Oxygen /Water Vapor Transmission Rate Test System has three independent 50cm2 area test cells, with parallel sample detection.
Labthink's Oxygen /Water Vapor Transmission Rate Test Systems are based on the testing principle of Coulometric oxygen sensor and infrared water vapor sensor. They are designed and manufactured according to ASTM D3985, ASTM F1249, ISO 15106-2 and other relevant standards to provide high precision and high efficiency oxygen and water vapor transmission rate tests for high and medium gas barrier materials. They are suitable for testing the oxygen and water vapor transmission performance of films, sheets and related materials in the fields of food, medicine, medical devices, daily chemicals, photovoltaic devices, electronics and many others. Labthink's high-end industrial computer is embedded in each instrument to eliminate system failure caused by computer viruses and ensure operational reliability and data storage security. The instruments are equipped with optical and other intelligent sensors as well as intelligent sound and light alarms to ensure operational safety.
