Sixt Rent a Car Gives Away Every SIXTh Rental for Free

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., September 23, 2016

Sixt rent a car USA, LLC announces the launch of its sweepstakes, “Every SIXTh for Free.” Starting on Friday, Sept. 23rd at 9:00 a.m. EST, customers making a qualifying reservation on sixt.com/sixthforfree may enter to have their rental car paid for by Sixt. Through Sunday night, every sixth entrant will win.

Sixt is excited to surprise customers with a great car for free. “We don’t think car rental should be boring,” said Johannes Boeinghoff, Co-President of Sixt rent a car USA. “So we decided to inject some excitement into the booking process and give people the chance to get something even better than an affordable car rental: a free car rental.”

Why does every sixth win? That was a no-brainer. “The Sixt name is well known in Europe,” said Boeinghoff. “But we’re relatively new in the U.S., so people are always asking if there’s some connection to the number six. For once, we thought it would be fun to play with that.”

In order to qualify, bookings must be made on the landing page sixt.com/sixthforfree for pickup at participating Sixt locations in the United States, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. Customers are required to choose the “Pay Now” option when making their reservation, and must agree to enter the contest once their reservation has been confirmed. Once they have entered the sweepstakes, users will immediately see whether they have won or lost. Winners will additionally be notified per e-mail. Up to $300 of the original rental price will be credited back to the winning customers.
The contest ends at midnight on Sept. 25th, and a full list of the winners will be released in October 2016.
