Pure stage fright - words that move: 19th SpeakerSlam brings international talents to Germany

Last weekend, the 19th international SpeakerSlam, which has already made stops in world capitals such as New York City, Munich, Vienna, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Dubai and Miami, was held in the legendary halls of Scherer Studios in Hunsrück. This tough, prestigious event attracted over 120 finalists from 13 different countries, who had previously secured one of the coveted starting places through a demanding pre-qualification process.

The SpeakerSlam places high demands on the speakers: in just 4 minutes, they have to present their topic in a precise, convincing and entertaining way - a challenge that pushes even experienced speakers to their limits. The competition is known for promoting the ability to get to the heart of complex content in the shortest possible time and to inspire the audience.

The trilingual presentations took place on two stages, while spectators on site and from six countries, including the USA and Canada, followed the event live on TV.

A high-caliber jury and a scouting group judged the participants' performances, always on the lookout for the best new talent.

This year's winner in his category is Dr. Ralf Lüttmann, dentist, Eckernförde and Kiel, who has already appeared in more than 30 countries as an international expert in the field of implantology. He has made a name for himself in the USA and Japan in particular, where he was the first to share his expertise on the subject of ceramics and implantology. With his presentation "What does my bite have to do with neck and back pain?", Dr. Lüttmann impressed the jury by presenting a medically complex topic in an entertaining and understandable way. He managed to involve the audience interactively in his presentation and illustrate the connections in a fascinating way, making a complex topic tangible.

The SpeakerSlam has once again shown that the power of words inspires people around the world and brings together the best speakers from a wide range of disciplines and cultures. The event is not only a stage for outstanding talents, but also an international network of personalities who set important impulses through their presentations.
