GPAINNOVA GPAINNOVA, a leading innovator in the metal surface finishing industry, has prevailed in a German court action to enforce its groundbreaking electropolishing patents, the latest in its ongoing efforts to protect its innovations.

On July 2nd, 2024, the Dusseldorf Regional Court, in Germany, found that OTEC Prazisionsfinish GmbH infringed the European patent EP 3 372 711 B1, owned by GPAINNOVA's affiliate DryLyte, S.L, in Germany. Concretely, the infringement relates to OTEC Prazisionsfinish GmbH's devices EF-SMART and EF-PERFORMANCE, as well as Micro Finish Balls (the judgment is subject to appeal in Germany).
