Shane Krauser Makes Case for an Authentic Return to Freedom and the U.S. Constitution

Shane Krauser [https://shanekrauser.com/] made a compelling case to a few hundred people who attended an event commemorating the 1787 adoption of the U.S. Constitution. Attendees came from all over the southwest to take part in the gathering that was held in Mesa, Arizona.

"Parts of our culture have bought into the notion that our founding documents are outdated, archaic, and, some even contend, evil. Using some of the younger attendees to help illustrate various points, Krauser took the crowd through a journey of what occurred leading up to the adoption of America's governing document.

"To understand how unique and exceptional this document is," argued Krauser, "one must analyze it against the backdrop of 1786, 1686, and 1586. These ideas around freedom and self-government were uncommon, as very few cultures historically had ever experienced any semblance of real freedom. Something incredibly unique happened here."

Shane Krauser talked about the gathering of notable figures such as James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and Benjamin Franklin.

Krauser also discussed the rapid progress made in the first century of the "American experiment."

The underlying components that brought about these exceptional results are worth defending and restoring," said Krauser, whose mother immigrated to the U.S. from Switzerland.
