Kirsch Transportation Services, Inc. is proud to announce that Camilla Moore-Kirsch, CEO and Co-Founder, has been named a 2024 Top Woman-Owned Business in Transportation by Redefining the Road, the official magazine of the Women In Trucking Association (WIT). Kirsch Transportation Services is one of 13 companies selected for the award, recognizing its female leader's financial stability, growth, and entrepreneurial spirit.The editorial team at Redefining the Road honored Kirsch Transportation for its significant achievements under majority female ownership. "In the United States alone, there are more than 14 million women-owned businesses, which account for nearly 40% of all companies," said Brian Everett, group publisher of Redefining the Road. "These women-owned businesses are profoundly impacting the economy, employing millions and generating $2.7 trillion in annual revenue."
Jennifer Hedrick, President and CEO of WIT, also praised the honorees, stating, "It's a privilege for Women In Trucking Association to honor the 2024 Top Woman-Owned Businesses in Transportation. These 13 companies exemplify outstanding business practices and innovation, and they are led by pioneering women within the industry."
To qualify for the 2024 "Top Woman-Owned Businesses in Transportation" list, each company had to meet strict criteria, including generating a minimum of $5 million in gross annual sales. The award recipients, including Kirsch Transportation Services, represent a wide range of company sizes and specializations within the transportation industry.
The 2024 honorees will be recognized during a special program at the Women In Trucking Accelerate! Conference & Expo, scheduled for November 10-13 in Dallas, TX. The winners will also be featured in the upcoming edition of Redefining the Road magazine and highlighted online at www.womenintrucking.org/top-woman-owned-businesses.
