Hinfo: New 3rd Hotel Guest Technology, Auto Load Property via Mobile App Install, Property Rules and So Much More
• Hinfo is launching Version 3.8 of their Hinfo Digital Compendium service today with 10 major new features and additional enhancements.• Hinfo is introducing a Progressive Web App (PWA) as their 3rd mobile technology for hotel guests to choose from.
• Other new features include auto loading a property when downloading the mobile app, a new read more button and Immediate Notifications are now available to all guests irrespective of the mobile platform they are using.
Hinfo is introducing a new PWA for guests at hotels, resorts, B&Bs, holidays homes etc. to use during their stay.
PWAs act as a feature upgrade to an existing website solution, to create an experience that is closer to replicating a mobile app from the App Store.
"We are the first digital compendium provider, to offer a 3rd mobile guest technology, giving guests even more choice to select the technology that solely suits them best." "Adding our best designed PWA onto your guests own device home screen, will upgrade our website to the same full screen experience as our mobile app and enables push notifications for all of our built-in services."
Hinfo has also streamlined access to each property's details for guests using the mobile app.
When guests download the Hinfo digital hotel compendium app for the first time, by scanning the QR Code in their room or at reception, the property they are staying at will load immediately after opening.
"Our new QR Codes allow guests to access any property's details and services via our mobile app effortlessly." Says Neil Houlston, Founder of Hinfo. "Guests can simply scan the QR code and download the super-fast mobile app and tap to open once installed. That's it! And for guests that already have the mobile app installed, scanning the new QR codes will instantly load the next property they are staying at."
While digitizing their hotel compendiums, many properties need to include lengthy details for particular headings, such as the operating instructions for an appliance at a holiday home.
Hinfo has introduced a new read more button, to automatically appear for guests to make it easier to read and navigate through all sections.
Immediate Notifications have been upgraded to allow all guests to receive these notifications, even if they do not enable push notifications.
Guests will also now see notifications sent on the same day they checked in, even if the property's staff send a notification a few hours before their arrival.
Hinfo has also introduced several more features in addition to many minor improvements, including additional promotional material styles with Connect to Wi-Fi QR Codes and options for guests to easily change language or room details, without affecting any usage analytics.
All these updates are designed to extend the features and services available to guests, with improved navigation and streamlining guest access.
