As the pair, a toy soldier named Christophe and a teddy bear named Griswold, traverse fantastical lands and encounter helpful new friends, they must use their imaginations, face their fears, and lean on one another to complete their journey. They acquire mystical artifacts, solve puzzles, and face obstacles on their path to the Queen's Castle, learning valuable lessons and exploring diverse landscapes along the way. Throughout their epic journey, they see that love and bravery are they keys to their success.
With beautiful illustrations, including maps for each of the regions that Griwold and Christophe travel through, and a colorful cast of characters, Bjone creates a vivid world of mystery and magic. Descriptive stanzas about each area (by day and by night) further build this wonderful world, and each new character provides deeper details about the nature of the lands they inhabit.
A lifelong artist and professional architect, the author has a passion for drawing and storytelling. He has written and published five previous books on art and architecture. This is his first children's book, with a sequel already in the works.

This is his first children's book in which he did all the writing and illustration. It was done with loving care and committed silliness.
