Iron Lady Foundation Unveils New Brand and Website as they further work to Educate, Uplift and Empower Children and Women

Iron Lady Foundation provides access to healthcare, education and daily basic necessities through programs of care designed to educate, uplift and empower lives for generations.
Financial and Technology Business Leader, Rashi Mehta has announced further details on the private non-profit organization she has founded.

Iron Lady Foundation was established with a clear purpose to educate, uplift and empower children and women in poverty-stricken areas worldwide.

Mehta's own story is a remarkable one having grown up in Rajasthan, India before relocating to the US where she went onto Co-Found and serve as Vice President of Rahi Systems, a Fremont, California based Global IT Systems Integrator. She was integral in leading the growth of the business ultimately to a successful acquisition by Fortune 200 listed company Wesco.

Inspired by her mother, Dr Leela Mehta who rose from poverty to become the first female doctor in the vast region of Rajasthan, India and then went onto become a pioneering Gynecologist, and recognized leader and advocate for maternal health and welfare. To date Iron Lady Foundation has installed Water and Sanitation facilities in schools and its most successful project to date has been through their "Grow & Develop Young Minds" project, in collaboration with Dr. Vijay Tiwari at the DSES School in Balia, Uttar Pradesh, where the initiative has expanded to accommodate over 1,700 students, creating a brighter future for underprivileged children aged 5 to 16.
