Rex Legal Business Consulting Launches Online FinCEN BOI Submission Service
MIAMI - August 22, 2024 - Rex Legal Business Consulting today announced a new service that helps companies file their Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Reports, which are required under US law. All American companies must file a BOI Report with the US Government's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) by the end of 2024. Rex Legal is making the submission process easy with a new convenient online platform. The service is part of the firm's broader portfolio of personalized legal assistance for clients, especially those located overseas.
"It is important to remind all owners of businesses in the United States that submission of the FinCEN BOI Report is mandatory and must be done in a timely manner," said George Jovanovic, Manager of Rex Legal. "Reporting is not only a legal requirement, but also a preventative measure to avoid potential financial and legal penalties under FinCEN regulations. Failure to comply could result in a civil fine of $500 per day, and up to two years in prison." There are profound consequences if the FinCEN Report (BOI) is not submitted by required deadlines."

According to Jovanovic, "Companies registered this year 2024 will have 90 days to comply. Companies registered before 2024 will have until December 31 of this year to submit their FinCEN report."
