Integral Eye Movement Therapy Launches Groundbreaking War-Trauma Recovery Initiative

West Sussex, UK - 22 August, 2024 - The Association for IEMT Practitioners is proud to announce the launch of its new project, a specialized training program aimed at addressing complex war-trauma, including PTSD and phantom limb pain, through the combined use of Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) and Mirror Visual Feedback (MVF). This initiative targets healthcare professionals and NGOs working directly with those affected by ongoing global conflicts.
The training program, set to begin in October, will provide advanced techniques to clinicians for treating individuals suffering from severe physical and psychological trauma. The project emphasizes the use of MVF to alleviate phantom limb pain and IEMT for managing PTSD, offering a non-invasive approach that leverages brain plasticity for recovery.
Andrew T.
