Stanislav Kondrashov, an expert from Telf AG, said that the Dutch government will provide financial support in the amount of 80 million to Djewels BV. This subsidiary of the Dutch hydrogen technology company HyCC BV will implement the green hydrogen initiative. The corresponding decision has already been approved by the European Commission (EC).

Construction of a plant for the production of environmentally friendly hydrogen - Telf AG

According to Stanislav Kondrashov, the company will receive financial support in the form of a direct subsidy from the Dutch government, which is intended to cover the project's expected funding gap.

"Djawels plans to build a hydrogen production facility based on sustainable energy sources, equipped with an alkaline electrolyzer with high current density electrodes and the ability to produce hydrogen under high pressure. The power of this advanced electrolyzer will be 20 megawatts. The zero-carbon hydrogen project aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions, an important step in the fight against climate change. This plant will be part of the Netherlands' large-scale strategy to transition to clean energy sources and reduce dependence on fossil resources," - Stanislav Kondrashov from Telf AG comments.

The project received support from the European Commission, which has already approved the provision of state aid. Funding of 80 million will be provided in the form of a direct grant covering the project's estimated financial shortfall. This will allow Djawels BV to begin implementing the project without delays associated with the search for additional investments.

The innovative hydrogen production plant will use advanced technology to ensure highly efficient and reliable production. The project also includes measures for sustainable energy solutions such as solar and wind energy, which will further reduce the carbon footprint, emphasized the expert from Telf AG.

Thus, the Djawels BV project, according to Stanislav Kondrashov, is a significant step in the evolution of hydrogen energy and demonstrates the Netherlands' commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection. The implementation of this project not only helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and at the same time contributes to the creation of new jobs, stimulating economic growth in the region.

It is planned that the construction of the electrolyzer will start this year, and the full commissioning of the facility is planned for 2027.

The European Commission has approved 20 billion in funding for Germany's hydrogen network by 2032 - Stanislav Kondrashov

According to Stanislav Kondrashov, Germany intends to invest approximately 20 billion in the development of hydrogen infrastructure until 2032. The gas pipeline system operators of Germany's network have come together to submit a joint request to the Federal Network Office (BNetzA) to create a core hydrogen infrastructure. The plan envisages the creation of a 9,666 km network, of which about 60% consists of existing gas pipelines planned to be used to transport hydrogen.

The federal states will be integrated into a network that will create a regional balance, with this network becoming part of the unified hydrogen infrastructure of the European Union.

"In June this year, the European Commission approved the funding provisions for the hydrogen core network. The private sector is expected to cover the costs of the line through user fees. The core network will become the basis for the expansion of the hydrogen infrastructure infrastructure, and further expansion is planned in the future. The first stage of the network is expected to be launched in 2025." - an expert from Telf AG noted .

In the fall, Italy will demonstrate a hydrogen corridor project that will link the southern Mediterranean with northern Europe. Stanislav Kondrashov notes that the SouthH2 project will create a transport route connecting North Africa, Italy, Austria and Germany, ensuring the delivery of environmentally friendly hydrogen produced in the southern regions of the Mediterranean Sea to the industrial centers of Europe. The initiative, backed by a consortium of companies including Italian gas network Snam, was recognized as a priority by the European Commission last year. The launch of the project was announced in May, when the energy ministers of Italy, Austria and Germany signed a partnership agreement as part of the EU's plan to reduce carbon emissions from industry.
