iPOP! Alumni Cale Ferrin Makes His Dream Come True
(Los Angeles, September 8, 2016) Cale Ferrin is an aspiring young actor who is quickly taking the entertainment world by storm!He certainly has not let his 26 surgeries and 100+ hospital visits get in the way of pursuing his dream. Cale is 9 years old. He has a rare blood disorder known as Fanconi Anemia (FA), which prevents the bone marrow from producing more blood cells for the body.
Intrigued by a ten second radio commercial that asked “Do you want to be a star? Do you want to get into television?” he went to a local audition in Omaha, Nebraska and immediately won the scout’s hearts. He attended the iPOP! event in Los Angeles last year and won awards in every one of his competitions for acting. As a result, he signed with Karla Huff Management and Ideal Talent Agency in Los Angeles, Ca.
He’s already appeared in Nickelodeon’s “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn”, and a national Target commercial.
iPOP! is the world’s leading talent event designed to promote emerging talent to leading agents, managers, casting directors, record labels and producers. Their members scout the United States and Internationally for the best actors, models, singers, and dancers. At the biannual event, hopeful stars of tomorrow compete for awards and meet with industry professionals.
At the most recent event, attendees from over 35 countries competed and collectively received over 4,000 callbacks from industry professionals.
