RememberTag [https://remembertag.com/], a startup based in Frankfurt, Germany, is helping gravesite visitors connect with their loved ones through a tech-based platform that utilizes a QR-embedded plaque and a digital profile.

Headstones can only tell so much of a story. "Your loved one deserves more than a name and a date on a headstone," said Dennis Rodin, the 21-year old CEO of RememberTag.

The company is passionate about keeping memories alive and has created a user-friendly system that leverages leading-edge technology. A QR-code embedded plaque is first affixed to a headstone or virtually anywhere where a loved one might be reflected on. When visitors scan the code, they are linked to a page where the decedent's biography is posted. Videos and imagery can also be uploaded to create an immersive experience. "You can relive your loved one's laughter, their voice, and their life stories instantly," said Rodin.

RememberTag is a simple yet effective way to commemorate a loved one and preserve their memories forever. To get started, users simply affix their plaque, scan the code, and set up a profile. The process takes less than five minutes.

The plaque itself is designed to last and is made of weatherproof anodised aluminum. On the digital side, RememberTag profiles include unlimited storage space. Users can create an interactive timeline of their loved one's life, create a biography telling their life story, and upload as many photos and videos as they would like. Plus, users can turn on a privacy mode that only allows certain people to scan and view the profile. Or, users can choose to leave the profile open to the public so that anyone visiting the headstone can learn about the decedent's life.

RememberTag only costs a one-time, up front rate and has no hidden fees, ongoing costs, or subscriptions. A demo profile, which would be displayed after scanning a coordinating QR code, can be seen at https://remembertag.app/YUDnpqQ17.
