The safety requirements for LED lamps in the US market mainly include UL, CSA, ETL, etc. The main certification and testing standards include UL 8750, UL 1598, UL 153, UL 1993, UL 1574, UL 2108, UL 1310, UL 1012, etc. Among them, UL8750 is the safety requirement for LED light sources used in lighting products, including requirements for the use environment, mechanical structure, electrical mechanism, etc.

The electromagnetic compatibility requirement for LED lighting products in the US market is FCC certification. The certification test standard is FCC PART18 and the certification type is DOC, which means Declaration of Conformity. Compared with the EU CE certification, the biggest difference between FCC testing and EU CE certification is that it only has EMI requirements but no EMS requirements.
