We Are G.A.M.E. celebrated the 10th Annual Student-Athlete Success Conference at UC Santa Barbara from June 28-30, 2024. Over 50 student-athletes attended from various cities. Workshops covered credit scores, personal branding, social media, nutrition, and interview techniques. Alumni returned, showcasing the program's impact. We Are G.A.M.E. Hosts 10th Annual Student - Athlete Success Conference, Santa Barbara, CA

We Are G.A.M.E. (Getting Athletes Mentoring and Education) recently concluded its 10th Annual Student-Athlete Success Conference at the University of California, Santa Barbara, from June 28th to 30th, 2024. This milestone event, marking the largest and most "amazing" gathering in the organization's history, brought together over 50 dedicated student-athletes and mentors from diverse locations, including Atlanta, GA, Wichita & Kansas City, KS, and Albuquerque, NM.

The conference also welcomed back six distinguished alumni of We Are G.A.M.E., underscoring the enduring impact of this unique mentoring initiative. Empowering Young Athletes for Lifelong Success. The Student-Athlete Success Conference is a cornerstone of We Are G.A.M.E.'s mission to empower young athletes with the skills and support they need to succeed both on and off the field.

This year's event was a remarkable success, featuring:

- 56 Student-Athletes: Participants gathered to enhance their skills and knowledge, forming connections that will support them through high school, college, and beyond.

- Lifelong Mentorship: Attendees meet with their lifelong mentors who will guide them through academic, athletic and personal development.

- Essential Life Skills Classes: A comprehensive range of classes covered critical topics including:

- Building a solid foundation for success through academics, financial awareness and interpersonal communications.

- Building your personal brand and navigating social media effectively.

- Nutrition and feeding yourself physically and mentally as an athlete.

- How to interview for academic admissions, scholarship opportunities and press interviews.

Get involved and make a difference. We Are G.A.M.E. is dedicated to continuing its mission of supporting young athletes, and they invite the community to get involved.
