Schneider Electric advocates eco-friendly asset management

Schneider Electric has called on industries to adopt sustainable practices in asset management and maintenance.

In a statement, Vice President of Services for Schneider Electric Anglophone Africa, Nnadozie Ogbuehi, emphasised the need for industries to prioritise comprehensive asset maintenance.

He outlined key qualities to look for in an asset management expert, including the expertise of maintenance personnel, quality assurance, onsite response time, remote monitoring capability, and comprehensive onsite inspection.

Ogbuehi stressed the importance of a proactive approach in asset management, stating, "Many customers tend to adopt a reactive approach to managing their assets, which can lead to increased downtime and reduced equipment lifespan."
