Launch of New Digital Asset Hedge Fund - MV Global Opportunity Fund SP
A new digital asset hedge fund, MV Global Opportunity Fund SP, has been launched via CV5 Digital SPC. This fund employs a dynamic investment strategy aimed at achieving absolute returns within the evolving Web3 and blockchain theme. Leveraging discretionary investment decisions based on fundamental analysis and an institutional-grade research and due diligence process, the Fund capitalizes on pure alpha plays, focusing on investments in liquid and semi-liquid digital assets and SAFTs.
The investment strategy adopts both a top-down and bottom-up research process, considering macroeconomic conditions, on-chain analytics, and momentum/trend factors to inform decision-making. The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of digital assets, emphasizing tokens of critical infrastructure and user applications within the Web3 ecosystem.

The Fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation while managing risks associated with market volatility and the performance of underlying securities. Up to 30% of the Fund's AUM is allocated to semi-liquid positions in SAFTs, with these investments made shortly before the token generation event (TGE). The remainder of the portfolio is invested in liquid digital assets or OTC positions expected to become liquid within 12 months. This strategy highlights our expertise in investing in liquid positions and capitalizing on unique dealflow from MV Global.
