Viles & Beckman Foundation, Inc. Celebrates Successful Back2School Backpack Giveaway

The Viles & Beckman Foundation, Inc. is thrilled to announce the tremendous success of its Back2School Backpack Giveaway, held on July 27th, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Viles & Beckman Personal Injury Attorneys building in Fort Myers.

* This community-focused event provided over 250 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to children in the community. Additionally, extra backpacks and supplies were ordered and donated to a local church and Project Access with the Lee County School Board.

The event was a vibrant celebration that featured a range of activities including delicious food off the grill, refreshing Snow Cones from Kona Ice, engaging face painting, and much more. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude, as evidenced by the heartfelt comments from attendees. Mike V., a local parent, shared his appreciation, saying, "Thank you all so much! My babies and me are extremely grateful for the backpacks and school supplies, and the food and activities - we had a blast!"

With the mission of "Empowering Young Minds, Illuminating Futures," the Foundation strives to empower underprivileged youth to reach their full potential. In just one year, the Foundation has raised thousands of dollars to support initiatives such as the Back2School event, scholarships for college-bound students, and various youth development programs throughout the community.

Michael Beckman expressed his pride and gratitude, stating, "It is an honor and blessing to be able to support children in our community. I am so proud of the team and all the hard work they put in to make such an impact. We will continue to grow this event bigger and better each year to continue impacting families in our community!"
