MoonFu is the brainchild of David Santo, aka ScreenwriterDave. "Writing MoonFu has been the greatest joy of my life," said Santo. "It's family entertainment along the lines of 'KungFu Panda' with a delightful owl that people of all ages can fall in love with."

The story follows a young prince on his coming-of-age quest against the backdrop of treachery when his malevolent father, King Talon, schemes to steal a life-giving diamond that keeps a secret society of owls alive.
Upon discovering this, MoonFu must choose between serving his kingdom or saving an entire civilization in this hero's journey.
The story features an amazing cast of characters including the wise Sensei Hoot, MoonFu's love interest Flicker, and the evil King Talon.

MoonFu is part of an expansive storyverse that will encompass books, TV, film, music, and merchandise. Santo was excited to share, "I've already adapted this book into a screenplay, and it's won 1st place in 7 film festivals!" The screenplay is also included in the book.
When asked about the best part of creating MoonFu Studio, David quickly replied, "The help I've received from people in the Bored Ape Yacht Club." This group, abbreviated BAYC, is a powerhouse organization under the Yuga Labs umbrella of companies driving Web3 innovation and tech forward.
BAYC has several amazing grant programs for creators like Santo. Whenever he gets to talk about "the apes," David's eyes light up and he gushes; "There's @AaronHaber and @AllCityBAYC and @TheHappyApe (who has a book of their own that's incredible) and one of the grant programs is run by the @ApeCoinGWG."
The book will be available for a FREE Amazon Kindle download August 20 - 22.
