Human Growth Foundation to Host National Growth Awareness Day for Families, September 21

The Human Growth Foundation (HGF) announces its 10th Annual National Growth Family Day on September 21, 2024, at SeaWorld (Port of Call) in Orlando, Florida. As a cornerstone of the National Growth Awareness Week event, this nonprofit initiative aims to unite families, healthcare professionals, and supporters and raise awareness of growth disorders and related conditions.

Through a series of informative workshops, expert-led discussions, and engaging activities, attendees of HGF Family Day will gain essential knowledge, support, and connections with others who understand their journey.

Distinguished Speakers:
Dr. Chad Rose: Dive deep into bullying prevention and learn effective strategies to foster a safe environment for our youth.
Dr. Madhusmita Misra: Gain valuable insights into bone health and how to keep our children's bones strong and healthy.

The Human Growth Foundation established HGF Family Day in response to the U.S. Senate's groundbreaking Growth Awareness Resolution, S. Res. 489, in 2014. This resolution underscored the importance of monitoring children's growth pat"If a child is not growing at the normal rate, that can be a clear indication of something wrong with the child's overall health," says Dr. Pisit ("Duke") Pitchukewannont, president of the Human Growth Foundation. "The first step to helping the child is awareness, early diagnosis, and treatment. That is why the HGF Family Day is so important for families."
