Revenues 2nd quarter
- Consolidated revenues for the second quarter showed solid growth (+22%) over the same quarter of the preceding fiscal year, reaching 7 M€. License sales experienced very strong growth (+44%), due to three licenses over 500K€. Product related services (consulting, training and implementation) declined 15% and reoccurring maintenance grew 5%. Revenues 1st half
- For the semester, which traditionally has more significance than a quarter, consolidated revenues grew 11% to 10.5 M€. When corrected for exchange rate changes, growth was +14%.
- All geographic areas, with the exception of Great Britain, contributed to overall revenue growth, the best performance coming from France and Germany. 49% of revenues came from France, 29% from Europe out of France and 22% from the United States.
- License sales, which account for 50% of consolidated revenues grew 12% over the same period last year. The bulk of license sales (87%) came from existing customers deploying BAM solutions more widely within their organization. License revenue from partners (OEM, resellers, distributors) was 10%. Product related services, which represented 21% of consolidated revenues grew 4% compared to the 1st half of the previous fiscal year. Reoccurring maintenance revenue was up 14% and represented 29% of consolidated revenues.
Key facts of the semester
- Customers and partners showed a sustained appetite for our BAM solutions during the 1st half, including in the financial services industry and in the United States despite the current crisis.
- The second quarter witnessed the first sales resulting from the OEM partnership strategy launched more than a year ago, with sales in Poland, the United States and Germany in the food, telecommunications and energy sectors.
Perspectives
- Indirect sales from OEM partners are expected to increase progressively over the upcoming quarters as the partners will launch and market their new BAM offering integrating Systar technology to their customers.
- Systar will continue its expansion to gain market share to reinforce its leadership position in the BAM market. Investments will be focused on marketing and sales in the United States and in Europe out of France.
Consolidated income for the 1st half 2007-2008 will be released on February 27th, 2008
