Deerfield Beach, FL - July 25, 2024 - Dream 2 Lead (D2L), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is thrilled to announce its first-ever Adventurology Summer Camp, set to take place from July 26-28, 2024. This groundbreaking event, crafted to inspire and engage over 100 youth participants, will combine sports, music, science, and art activities, with a focus on supporting at-risk youth.
Highlights of the Event:
* VIP Guests: The camp will feature special appearances and mentorship from distinguished professionals, including NFL veterans Chris Chambers and Isa Abdul-Quddus, renowned choreographer Quency Gordon from Innergy Dance, and financial experts from Amerant Bank.

About Dream 2 Lead (D2L):
The genesis of Dream 2 Lead (D2L) finds its roots in the shared dream and passion for serving the community, particularly children, through mentorship. Kristoffer Doura, the founder and visionary behind D2L, harbored this dream as early as 2016. However, it wasn't until 2024 that the dream began to take tangible form, fueled by a combination of vision, determination, and momentum in youth advocacy.
Kristoffer Doura, renowned as an ex-professional NFL player for the Miami Dolphins and having played in international leagues, envisioned a platform that could provide meaningful mentorship opportunities and access to youth. His aspiration found fruition when he joined forces with Telena Paris, a dynamic leader with a proven track record in organizational and business development, particularly in the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the nonprofit sector.
Telena Paris, a trained choreographer, vocalist, actor, and filmmaker, brings a wealth of artistic and organizational experience to D2L. Trained in Martha Graham and various dance techniques, she has traveled extensively and worked with major theatrical organizations such as Disney and Universal. Additionally, Telena's noteworthy modeling career for Nike Athletic Brands further underscores her multifaceted background and commitment to excellence. As the creator and developer of the Adventurology Summer Camp, Telena has poured her expertise and passion into making this camp a reality, fully supported by Kristoffer's extensive experience and vision.
Both Kristoffer and Telena work part-time as professors, further solidifying their dedication to education and their understanding of its value. Driven by their shared belief in God and a desire to honor their faith through positive change in youth, they embarked on a journey to establish D2L as a beacon of hope and empowerment in the community. Their unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of young individuals led them to establish D2L with a shared philosophy centered around sports and entertainment, S.T.E.A.M. education, mental health resources, and high-level mentorship.
Lunch with the Pros: One of the most anticipated events of the camp is the "Lunch with the Pros" session, where youth will have the opportunity to engage with and learn from professionals across various fields. Special guests include Lloyd McAdams, financier; Robert Mazzucchelli, Chairman/CMO of Sports Ed TV; Melista Waage, CEO; Dr. Brian Coleman; Gloria Coleman; Diana Perkovi, CEO; Gregorie (Gigi) Orisma, Production Coordinator at CBS Sports; Wayne Pathman, owner of Pathman Law Firm; RJ Martino, GM of FAU Sports Properties; Stichiz, 103.5 The Beat Radio Personality and Jay Reynolds, executive. This unique experience is designed to inspire and provide invaluable insights into different career paths, encouraging the campers to dream big and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
Event Schedule:
* Day 1 (Friday, July 26): Opening ceremony, breakfast, group rotations including sports, musical theater, financial literacy, and mental health sessions, culminating in a special "Lunch with the Pros."
* Day 2 (Saturday, July 27): Continuation of group rotations with a special takeover by the US Army featuring warm-up, track & field, and fundamental skills clinics.
* Day 3 (Sunday, July 28): Half-day featuring musical theater performances, a dance party, an award ceremony, and fun activities such as dodgeball and light water sports.
