New Service Saving Businesses from Overwhelming HMRC Debt

Forbes Burton's latest business service has had an instant impact, saving multiple businesses from the threat of insolvency.

• Forbes Burton's new negotiation team have already secured business-saving repayment plans for multiple UK firms
• UK businesses folding under weight of large HMRC bills

After seeing so many clients struggling to repay large HMRC bills, nationwide business consultancy, Forbes Burton have launched a new service aiming to help UK companies before they face insolvency proceedings.

Their Time to Pay Negotiation Team utilises the firm's strong relationship with HMRC to secure payment terms that are manageable enough to allow businesses to keep trading. While HMRC have the ability to offer these Time to Pay arrangements, they're historically reluctant to do so, assuming that allowing defaulting companies to continue trading will only build up a larger debt.

The team have already enjoyed huge successes by negotiating debts of hundreds of thousands of pounds into bite-size payments that companies can actually afford. Specialist Negotiator, Nicholas Troth is keen to state that such deals aren't just the preserve of larger companies though. He added that, "we've been able to secure some great deals for businesses that previously thought the size of their HMRC debt would finish them, but that doesn't mean that a debt must be six figures in order to qualify for help.

"A much smaller amount can still have the potential to ruin a company. If any business owner finds themselves with an HMRC bill they're unsure they can pay, they should call us as soon as possible to avoid the situation becoming worse".

Indeed, left neglected, a debt to HMRC can soon have penalties added that compound the problem further still. Thankfully, such large bills need not be a death sentence for businesses anymore, with sensible payment options available with help from Forbes Burton.

If you think your business would benefit from a repayment plan for unwieldly HMRC debt, give Forbes Burton's Time to Pay Negotiation Team a call on 0800 975 0380, or visit https://www.forbesburton.com/services/hmrc-arrears
