Gray said, "Look, I was just thankful that ADOT assisted the day before by clearing my fallen tree debris from the public sidewalk, which I think is great service provided by Maricopa County. Kudos! But the next day, after Pete and Jude took away a Maricopa County tree that had fallen on the median or island, these two heroes kindly signaled for me to step aside and halt my fat-branch cutting exercise in futility, and Pete and Jude extended to me the one-time courtesy of chopping for me the biggest, fattest fallen-tree branches on my property! Hallelujah! Thank you, Pete and Jude!"
According to Gray, the heroic action of Pete and Jude demonstrates that Maricopa County deserves resounding applause for hiring good, decent people like Pete and Jude.
