Ventosa Vineyards Triumphs at the 2024 NY Wine Classic Competition
Geneva, NY - Ventosa Vineyards is thrilled to announce its exceptional performance at the prestigious NY Wine Classic Competition, where Ventosa garnered multiple accolades for its outstanding wines. "For over three decades, the New York Wine Classic has been a center of excellence, showcasing the exceptional quality and diversity of wines produced across our state," says Sam Filler, Executive Director of NYWGF. The competition, renowned for celebrating the best wines in New York State, awarded Ventosa Vineyards with the following medals:
- GOLD - 2020 Cabernet Franc*
- SILVER - 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon
- SILVER - 2019 Sangiovese
- SILVER - 2021 Dry Riesling
- BRONZE - 2020 Pinot Noir*
- BRONZE - Saggio Series XIII

The 2020 Cabernet Franc, which won a coveted Gold medal, is particularly noteworthy for its Bordeaux-style with fruit-forward nose enhanced by caramel and supple leather, making it a standout among its peers. Stay tuned for this wine to be released to the public.
The Silver medals for the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2019 Sangiovese, and 2021 Dry Riesling further highlight the versatility and quality of Ventosa Vineyards' wine portfolio.
