CAUDALIE USA ACCELERATES GROWTH WITH NEW CEO APPOINTMENT

It was announced by Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas, founders of Caudalie Paris, leading skincare and anti-ageing brand renowned for its use of patented grape-seed polyphenols as the basis of their products, that they have appointed Martha Brady as President/CEO of Caudalie USA. The company, with three exclusive worldwide patents for the extraction and stabilization of anti-ageing active ingredients from the vine (Grape-seed Polyphenols, Grapevine Resveratrol and Grapevine Viniferine), is recognized as the pioneers and experts in grape and vine-based products.

Martha Brady brings over 20 years of business intelligence expertise in the prestige cosmetic and luxury fragrance arena. Formerly, Brady served as President/General Manager of Puig Prestige Beauty NA. She has built a solid career holding key executive positions with leading global companies including Guerlain, La Prairie and Estee Lauder. Throughout her career, Brady has achieved outstanding growth and profitability for the brands she represented, generated overall high performance practices and created long term competitive advantage.

Today, the twelve-year-old Caudalie brand products are sold in over 25 countries and distributed in the US at Sephora, select Nordstrom, Henri Bendel, Blue Mercury, flagship Bath and Body Works and independent specialty cosmetic boutiques. In 1999 the company erected its first Vinothérapie® Spa, located in the center of Château Smith Haut Laffite vineyard in Bordeaux-Martillac, France. Since then Caudalie has created additional spas located at renowned sites around the world: Caudalie Vinothérapie Spa at Relais San Maurizio in Santo Stefano Belbo, Italy (Piedmont wine region); Caudalie Vinothérapie® Spa at Marqués de Riscal in El Ciego, Spain (Rioja wine region); Caudalie Vinothérapie® Spa at Kenwood Inn in Kenwood, CA. (Sonoma Valley wine region). The company is now awaiting the 2008 opening of its newest Vinothérapie® Spa, an 8000 square foot, 14-cabin oasis housed within the historic walls of New York’s own newly-revived château within the city, The Plaza.
