Hunter Debuts Brand New Limited Etching:

Hunter debuts his brand new etched plate, “Forgotten”… as he creates original art by inking and hand-pressing them at his limited engagement at Seaside Art Gallery, September 2nd – 5th, 2016.

Only 100 of these gems are being issued.

Meet The Master Artist:

Artist David Hunter is a master in etching high detail images into a zinc plate.

You can meet Hunter and see him transforming his free-hand drawings from his etched zinc plates, into original finished works of art.

You’ll see him demonstrate his own techniques, and ease of highlighting and inking his original etched drawing…then hand-pressing the inked plate with his own equipment right there in the gallery.

Each beautiful piece is an original work of art…and you’ll see them made right before your eyes!

You can talk with Hunter and ask him questions about his craft and works of art.

In addition to his debut etching, Hunter will also have a beautiful selection of his etchings and artwork at the show. If you like, he’ll even sign and dedicate your own limited edition etching of your choosing during the show.

About The Artist:

David Hunter lives in Central Florida. He earned his M.A. in zoology, illustrating his master’s thesis with detailed pen-and-ink drawings. He taught physical science and participated in art shows while teaching.

Hunter became a full-time artist in 1978 and participates in art shows and competitions throughout the United States ever since. He has an impressive collection of awards and accolades.

His artwork is in galleries throughout the United States…it’s also in the permanent collection of the London Maritime Museum in England.
