Jennifer Davis Deckert is a musician and educator based in Carlsbad, California. She finds solace in the tranquil mornings by running along the beach. Jennifer spent over twenty years playing drums in Hydroplane alongside her sister Laural and brother-in-law Johnny Corcoran. Following Laural's unexpected passing in 2021, Jennifer channeled her grief into writing, crafting a heartfelt tribute that celebrates Laural's eternal spirit. Through her story, Jennifer hopes to offer solace and inspiration to others wrestling with loss. At home, she finds comfort with her husband, Eric, and their cherished cat, Bailey.
